What 'free delivery' actually means when you're buying TMT

Free-delivery offers on TMT bar almost always come with two conditions: a minimum order quantity, and a maximum delivery radius from the plant. Both are worth confirming before you plan a delivery schedule around them.

Dwaraka's terms, for example, apply free delivery on orders above 1MT within 15km of the Chityal plant — outside that radius, or below that quantity, delivery is quoted separately.

For smaller or more distant orders, it's often more cost-effective to consolidate a delivery with a nearby project than to place two smaller orders on separate trucks.
